Located in the north central mountains of New Mexico, near the historic towns of Elizabethtown, Red River, Eagle Nest and Taos the 5,955 ± acre Robert Mutz Ranch is known throughout the country for its trophy big game hunting. The headquarters consists of a main house and bunk house. There is also a machine shed, workshop, garage, stock shed, horse barn, slaughter house and smoke house. Other improvements include miscellaneous ranch trail roads, dirt tank, one well, developed spring, ditch system, corrals and post/wire fencing on some but not all perimeter boundaries. The portion of the ranch on the east side of NM Hwy 38 has improvements that include: old house ruin, gravel pit, miscellaneous ranch trails and logging roads, old mining developments and perimeter fencing on all or most of three sides.
